L for Lysky

It is Friday at long last. Thank God. I am so ready to not do anything important for a few days. Fer real. I am so happy to be lazy. What are the weekend plans, you might ask?

Well!

Tonight I'm having Addy over assuming the tornadoes don't eat us, and we shall go with the plans mentioned below. Which include writing and harassing Lauren and her friend. Oh so fun.

I'm also really hoping wristcutters comes in. Because I have been waiting for it to come through the mail ALL week. Each day I get out of school and I think "Today might be the day, Alyssa. Wristcutters could be here at last!" And then I get home and it's never here. If you've never heard of wristcutters, it's a movie. It doesn't sound like the best movie. I imagine, if this is read, that that would be one of the main thoughts. I don't blame you. I heard of it and I was like "That doesn't sound remotely interesting to me." but then Alex made me watch thirty minutes and I have to admit the plot is rather brilliant. Anyhow, I've been aching to see the rest, so tomorrow, maybe? That seems reasonable. I ordered it last Friday. But if I have to wait til Monday... then I'll probably make a growly face and be mad.

So how's the weather?

I feel like talking about the weather because it's horrible. It's been raining all day. Seriously. And for some reason my ipod seems to know it. I put it on shuffle and plugged it up to the bose to listen to while I got ready, because I'm not a morning person, and music makes me happy. So I'm sitting there eating my special K berries toaster waffle and I realize that every song that it was playing was talking about the current inclimate weather. It was so strange.

First song lyrics: "I hate the rain, but here it comes again."

Two minutes later:" Sometimes it rain, sometimes it pours..."

Next: "I'm just waiting for the sun."

Yes. It's raining. I know.

And now I'm home and there's tornado sirens going off and everything. Apparently there's a touch down out in... I don't know... De soto? So for all of you not aware of Kansas geography, that's not too far out, but far enough out that I'm perfectly safe being up here typing this then down in my basement. It's really strange. The only time I ever saw a tornado was in Florida, but the midwest is known for them, and of course Wizard of Oz doesn't help any. But I thought it was so ironic that I had to fly all the way to Florida to see a tornado. Anyway! I think I will be safe. Worse comes to worse I've got a basement.

Has anyone ever heard of Laban Seigmenn? My brother just came back from Norway recently and brought me back a package... which I devoured in like two days time. But have you? Because they are so delicious. I am completely jealous. They're much better than plain ol gummy bears. Definitely. I'm sad I ate them all now.

I'm pretty sure mine didn't have breasts like the red one up there. Apparently I had a bag full of the male Laban.
In other random news I have recently become re-obsessed with Placebo. I forgot how brilliant they are. I want to go out and buy two of their cds right now, but I should really ration my money. I need to buy concert tickets after all and I owe Caitie a bit of gas cash. Which is kind of ridiculous because I believe I'm on the way, but whatever. I can't bitch. I could be on the bus where they light kid's hair on fire.... I wish I was kidding. Poor Alex. Anyway, Placebo. Awesome. I so love them right now. I learned how to play every you every me the other day as well as Special K. It's pretty awesome. There's others I would love to learn, only they're way hard and I'm not that great yet. I'm working on it.
So in summary,
I hope I don't blow away.
I <3>
Norweigans have brilliant candy
Gas cash= frowny face
concert ticket= awesome.
Besides that, look out for a new vlog. I hope to get one up relatively soon. I'm such a slacker. Shame on me!
